I JUST WATCHED AVATAR AND AAHHHHHHHH~!!! *explode* It was SOOOOOO good. I had a choice between this or the Princess Frog. Even though I really wanted to see the Princess Frog, I was going to see it with just Dad, and that might of been slightly awkward. Plus I wanted to watch that with my sister so...
About the movie: When watching, I had NO idea what I was expecting, no idea what it was about etc., however, I was THOROUGHLY impressed. The animation was just PHENOMENAL! Just... wow.. It was SO good. It is definitely worth seeing again!
At the beginning of the movie I pretty much knew what the plot was and how it was going to go down at the end. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. SPOILER!: It is like a mix between Disney's Furn Gully, Pocahontas, Atlantis, and slightly of the Final Fantasy movie. As you can see, it was good enough to be a journal entry, even when I just put one up yesterday. I can't wait to watch it again!

Hey guys, Ari here. I just woke up from, like, a four hour nap and am half asleep right now, so if I don't make sense that's why.
Finals are DONE! DONE, DAMNIT, DOOOOONE! OWARIMASHITAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~! Although they didn't go that well, as expected, I'm just really sad about my Humanities exam, which was today. <_> I'm going to try and minimize the complaining since I bet EVERYONE had a tough time with finals week.
Wednesday:
PreCal and Japanese IV: yes.. my worse subjects on the same day. Yaaay. XD The sad part, in summary, is I felt more confident on my math exam than my Japanese.. I have no idea what is going in that class so that is really saying something. I, honestly, hardly studied for math too.
Thrusday:
British Literature. I studied, felt pretty confident besides vocab. I'm hoping to get a B at least.
Today:
Humanities.... Ugh. I'm just so irritated at myself for this one. For this, it was open notes; where we could print out our notes as well as the handouts. But of course, it was 100+ worth of handouts. I did manage to have them two pages at a time, cutting the notes and some handouts in half, however, when my ink cartridge ran out, which I knew was bound to happen so I bought that, paper and a binder the next day, my printer couldn't read it. It was very frustrating because I was really counting on that..
So in the end I had to use Dad's printer, which I couldn't figure out how to print in halves. So my Republic, Zarathustra and Treaties of a Human Act all had to be printed single page-edly(?). (Sorry that doesn't make sense.) The Republic itself was 80 pages, so you can see how bad I felt for Dad and wasting his paper/ink. At least I used it on today's test so it isn't a total waist, right?
Now, speaking of the test.. I was very mad at myself because it consisted of short answer questions which we had to back up with quotes (50 pts.) and an essay, which was 100 points. Thinking that we had two hours, I worked on the short answer ones first. And of course, our proctor says he made a mistake more than half way through the test saying we have 1:40 instead of two hours. By then it was about 9:00 and I flipped out because I still didn't start on my essay. Bad time management AGAIN! I just keeps trying to make me learn with several bites in the ass. *siiiigh* To summarize my frustration, I didn't have many quotes to back up my essay, let alone finished it.
Enough with the drama- it's done and over with. I gave my teacher some bath salts just in case to get her on her good side. She has already done so much for me this week anyway. Along with finals, I had to get in my CalArts forms in before break. Thinking that we were getting back before the date, I felt like I had a lot of time... Until I realized we get back the day of (which is on the 5th). Since I only asked for common app. recommendations, I had to ask her to make one for CalArts in a day. Oddly enough, I felt more stressed on that fact than finals, until I luckily got them in of course.
What else.. Not much on the awkward moments... Okay maybe... I got hit on by a old man on my bus ride home this week. Twice. T_T; Once on Wednesday and today. They were two different men, too. Wednesday it started off harmless; I was bringing my art home to work on during the break, and he complimented on it. Me being myself, was a bit embarrassed but happily took the compliment. But he kept on talking to me. The whole. bus. ride. HOME! I couldn't move either since all the seats were taken. Every time I thought he would end the conversation, he would bring up another one!!! I'm not one to rudely, or know how, to end a conversation, either; so I just continued to smile and nod. T~T I swear, I have a whole background on this guy because he kept on just rambeling away about his life, what he thinks of the government, his family, etc. The weiredest topic was when he thought of Obama being like Hitler. O_o;;;; Yeah...
As for the guy today. Well this guy started a conversation about if I tourist or not. Which was odd since I was in my uniform but I said no. Although I can understand the reason why behind it: it was, like, eleven in the morning and my bag was covering most of my top. So that was G rated. XD Then he got into how he was a math teacher and started quizzing me on simple math problems. Of course I'm not great at man, and my brain was fried, so I got some of them wrong. *fail* He was gonna go on but I said I was tired and just ended it. I did NOT want to start a conversation for the whole ride. T_T
Now to talk about Christmas. Any requests? I really don't want anything myself... well EXCEPT YOUR LUUUUUF (love)! Now that the stress of finals is done and over with.. I have to now stress about x-mas presents, applications, and work on my art. Whoot. ^^,,

Lols. That's what been going on in my life for the past couple of days. It has not a fun week.. and it's only half over! Do teachers perposely assign assignments for the last week to test our time management skills or something? If so, then I epically fail at it.
And of course, because I procrastinated and blew off these things 'till the last minute AGAIN, it all came down to this lovely week of hell.
Here are the projects that were due this week and how long they took:

DUE MONDAY: World Religions podcast
Time: 7:30 minutes (12+ hours of work time)
This podcast was for my World Religions end of the semester project. We had to choose any topic related to religions, incorporate what we learned in the class and had to create a seven to ten minute podcast on it. I did a compare and contrast document on three different types of weddings: Catholic, Shinto and Muslim religions.
Since we had assigned due dates, I luckily had the paper done before hand. But of course, the rest was done Saturday and all day Sunday/Monday:
Saturday:
8:00 PM-9:30 PM: Audio recording (yes it took that long...I had to work that day so I couldn't do it any earlier.)
Sunday... well let's say it was pretty much everything else. XD
10:00 AM-12:00 PM: looking up images
12:00 PM-...4:30 AM (I think?): putting images together with song, converting to imovie (which probably too 3x longer because of my perfectionism) and disk burning time. My first official all nighter! Whoo~! 8D (I usually wake up at 5:00 so there was no point in going to sleep. I took a shower instead and worked on college applications.)

DUE TUESDAY: Japanese commercial project
Time: 1:20 minutes (6 hours of work time)
For this project, we had to create a one minute commercial about our school and translate it into Japanese. My partner and I already had the interview done and recorded the clips Friday. All we had to do that night was to translate (which were pathetically easy sentences), record, and (I) compose it in imovie. Luckily it didn't take that long; but I did end up having some difficulty sending it to my partner since I wasn't going to go to school on Tuesday.

DUE WEDNESDAY (Today): Hawaiian History movie/podcast and PreCal. oral presentation
Time: 3 minutes (12.5 hours)
This was really pathetic on my part; I never left something this big to last minute (to this extent). I'm lucky because Mom almost didn't allow me to stay home. *_*
I did everything yesterday for this project: from researching, writing the script, finding images, to composing and burning the disk. These measly three minutes were on the pineapple canneries. It was originally supposed to be on the day in the life of a pineapple cannery worker but the original script I wrote didn't flow so I re-wrote it and talked about the job positions instead. >_< Even though it wasn't the best of my works, I benefited in learning new facts about the canneries. HOWEVERRRRRRRRR~! >_< SHE CHANGED THE DUE DATE TO FRIDAY LAST MINUTE, DAMNIT! RAWR! Everyone agreed that she said it was due today. However, today when I looked on the board it said Friday. FRIDAAAAAAAY! It was NOT like that on Wednesday. Even on her site it said WEDNESDAY! *huff*.. Yeah sorry. Just kinda irritated with the fact that I spent all day on that project and it wasn't officially due... *sigh* I'm trying to keep happy thoughts.. (puppies at cupcakes.. puppies and cupcakes..) at least I don't have to stress on it Thursday, all that matters is that it is finished, (even if it has a unconclusive ending.)
As for the PreCal project.. well I hardly put any effort in it. 45 minutes tops. XD I just copied from the book because I have no idea what is going on in that chapter. XD

...And I still have my US Government and (now) British Literature projects coming up. Yaaaay. I'm not going to wait last minute for those...at least I hope I not... T~T
I'm not even going to go into final exams...Their next week and all I have to say is I need to start cranking out those flash cards and studying my butt off.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
I had my first official all nighter! On Pearl Harbor's anniversary too! (RIP all of those who passed) I thought that was something to document. XD
Although I stayed up for another previous project last year, I managed get 45 minutes of sleep. This time though, I decided not to; I was at the point where I was so tired, that I wasn't. XD
I finished my teacher recommendations and managed to shorten my list for colleges! Whoot! I've been wanting to do that for two weeks+ now!
THERE ARE ONLY TWO MORE PROJECTS TO GOOOOOO~! T∆T (Four out of six are DONE!)
I love senior year because it is A LOT more laid back compared to last year. However, with times like these, I really hate school. XD
Just two more weeks, Ari, just two more weeks to run that final stretch!! T∆T Then it's time to stress about X-mas shopping.

Just saying hi to everyone out there.. I'm not going to bore you guys with my life this time. All I'm gonna say is that I'm relatively happy right now.
I hope you guys don't mind my experimental drawings- it's a first and I'm a bit nervous about it. XD Also thank you so much to those who have give support and suggestions to my drawings!
My mini obsessions are fun. If there are any suggestions for anime series, please let me know. I am actually quite clueless about commissions, but if anyone has a request, I'm willing to have a listen- it may be an option in the future. (I need some artwork for my portfolio that's why.. *_*)
