Alone,
I feel so alone right now in the dark.
So small.
They turn away,
I look down.
Invisible gazes snickering
With pitying stares.
Crushing my pride.

Alone in the dark.

Tears running,
Trying my best for them not to fall.
They keep falling.

The tears won't stop.

But then I remember
I can look past that.

Past the dark.

Thinking of you
All of you!
Who are always by my side.
Wipe those tears, and tell me I'm ok.
You guide me through the dark.

Knowing you are there
Comforting me,
Being my light.
My pride comes back,
My joy of being able to hold my head up high.

In the corner of my mind its there
The darkness in my mind.
I know I can look past that
